La maison suisse Piaget vient de dévoiler sa nouvelle collection de Haute Joaillerie pendant la semaine de la couture à Paris. Elle porte le nom aussi poétique que mystérieux “Secrets & Lights – A Mythical Journey”, et s’inspire de deux villes : Venise et Samarcande.

Sur certaines pièces, on retrouve la forme curviligne des gondoles, mais aussi les jeux de lumière évocateurs des fêtes vénitiennes. Une bague à secret au plateau coulissant révèle sur un fond de ciel bleu étoilé la constellation du Lion, symbole de la ville de Venise.

En descendant vers l’Orient, la maison Piaget s’arrête donc ensuite à Samarcande, en Ouzbékistan : arabesques et turquoises sont alors au rendez-vous, à l’image de l’architecture des palais construits par les perses. Le bracelet souple en or rose, serti de 105 diamants, fait honneur à cet imaginaire.

Enfin, une somptueuse manchette en or blanc, sertie d’émeraudes, de saphirs, de diamants et surtout de plumes, reste notre coup de coeur. Elle est le fruit du savoir-faire de l’artiste plumassière Nelly Saunier, invitée par la maison pour l’occasion, qui considère la plume comme une émotion. « Elle permet à l’artiste de créer des œuvres à la poésie naturelle ».
