Cross canada trainAvec its landscapes, the Canada is an ideal destination to discover by train. As with an area of 10 million km2, it is the second largest country in the world, after the Russia. On two different trips, I crossed the country throughout the width of the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Last year, it was from Halifax to Toronto, with an international team of bloggers, and this year, from Vancouver to Montreal, in Duet with Emily. A journey of more than 6,000 km in total, which corresponds to two major lines of Via Rail, the Canadian SNCF: The Canadian (drawn in blue on the map), which connects Vancouver to Toronto 4 days and 4,466 km, crossing the Rocky Mountains, the vast plains of the West and Ontario Lakes. The Ocean (traced in dark blue), which links Montreal to Halifax in 20 hours and 1,346 km, along the St. Lawrence and across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.Between the two, a classic train which connects Toronto to Montreal (539km in 6 hours), with a possible hook in Ottawa, the capital of the Canada. On the map below, include all of the trips I have made by train to Canada, with the steps where I left off.canada train card Life on board a Canadian trainTravel by train to the Canada is an experience full.
